Bell Mountain co-ed ride

Susan Martin will be leading a Women's Group ride on Bell Mountain (Tarbell area) on Saturday, June 23rd.  We will open this group ride up to any men who are interested in joining, but keep in mind that the women will be setting the pace... and the pace will be based on the slowest of the group.  We don't drop anyone on our group rides!

Meet at Gateway Park & Ride at 9am.  We will organize carpools and leave promptly at 9:15am.  It takes about 1 hour to drive to the trailhead in Washington.

Bell Mountain (Tarbell area)  is an out and back single track trail that goes up over a mountain and down the other side, then back up and over again.  The terrain is mostly smooth and not overly technical but there is a lot of climbing.  Aerobic fitness is needed.

This is a Fit Intermediate-Advanced ride.  The pace will be moderate, but consistent.  Expect the ride to take 4-5 hours, depending on group size and composition.  Plan for a full day, expecting to be back to Gateway around 4pm.

Bring lots of water and lots of food.  Also, please bring a helmet, spare tube and well maintained bike.

If you have any questions, please call Susan at 503-703-4300

Price: $0.00
