Trailfest 2012: Fun in Every Direction!

 

THURSDAY 7/5 – FOREST PARK TWILIGHT RIDE
 
LOCATION – Forest Park 
TIME – 5:30PM meet up (Fat Tire Farm parking lot) 6PM-7:30PM Ride
DESCRIPTION – Come out to mingle and meet NWTA members. Join us for a ride in
Forest Park while learning about NWTA and the history of our relationship with the
park.
 
COST: Free
 
FRIDAY 7/6 – TRAILFEST PARTY AT THE LUMBERYARD
 
Celebrate mountain biking in the Portland region at the Trailfest
party. Meet NWTA members and board of directors and ride the new Lumberyard
indoor riding facility. Learn about what is happening with the NWTA, check out an
awesome bike flick and see the results of the bike raffle. All are welcome!
COST: Free Admission. $15 (adults) $10 (kids under 12) to ride.
 
LOCATION – The Lumberyard 
Time – 5PM-10PM
 
5PM– 7PM: Open ride and pump-track clinic
 
7PM-7:30PM: Pump-a-thon
 
8PM: Welcome, movie and raffle
 
 
SATURDAY 7/7 – EAST/WEST TRAILFEST RIDES
 
Come out and ride two of the great riding areas that have benefited
from the efforts of NWTA members and volunteers. Hang out after the ride for a
free BBQ with other NWTA members.
COST: Free
 
Time – 11AM-1PM Ride – 1-3PM BBQ
 
Sandy Ridge Trailfest: all-mountain 
 
Stub Stewart Trailfest: cross country
 
 
SUNDAY 7/8 – NORTH/SOUTH TRAILFEST RIDES
Choose from the following rides and come out and ride with NWTA guides
that know the terrain.

Surveyors Ridge: cross country

MONDAY 7/9 – VENTURA PUMP TRACK GRAND OPENING
 
LOCATION – Ventura Park Bike Pump Track(Lead: Tom Archer)
TIME – Noon-2pm
DESCRIPTION – Come celebrate the grand opening and official ribbon cutting
ceremony for the Ventura Bike Pump Track. Meet city leaders and staff, and learn
about the track. Bring your bike!
