Post Canyon - Trail closure starting 7/20/12


On Friday, July 20th the Hood River County Forestry Department will CLOSE Seven Streams Trail and begin posting signage on access points on Post Canyon Road and trails in preparation for the Clematis Timber Sale. Trails #100 Seven Streams, #103 Mobius, #117 Frankenstein, and portions of #116 Spaghetti Factory trails will be closed during timber harvest operations.

Recreation users are encouraged to stage at Family Man (Riordan Hill Rd), Binns Hill (Binns Hill Rd), or Kingsley Reservoir (Kingsley Rd) Staging Areas where trails are open for public use.

*** Note Hood River County is a proponate of mtn biking on their lands.  The trail closure is a direct result of this last winters storm damage.  The trails will be reopened after the timber harvest.  To lend a hand, look for future HRATS work parties.
