Lewis River Trail conditions
As of a few weeks ago the road beyond Swift Reservoir was still under several feet of snow. I've checked the Gifford Pinchot NF website and don't see a current update. You might call the Mount st Helens National volcanic monument (Gifford Pinchot) and inquire on the status of the road. tele: 360 449 7800.

apparently still covered
Called Forest Service and they said, "the last I heard the road was still covered in snow"
open?
Lewis River is open!
Lewis River trail is open - or at least it was prior to the current low snow levels. I heard from reliable sources that it suffered very little damage this season.
