Tillamook State Forest Work Party

Attention mountain bikers and others interested in helping to construct a section of brand new non-motorized multi-use trail in the Tillamook State Forest. On behalf of the Northwest Trail Alliance, I will be leading the work party scheduled for July 18, 2009.  Please RSVP to the calendar post so that I can track who will be in attendance and ensure that enough trail construction tools are provided.  Carpools can be arranged between individuals depending on what is most convenient for you.  Please post if you are able to drive or are looking for a ride.

Please bring food/water for yourself, sunscreen, and clothing appropriate for working (long pants, work gloves, closed toe shoes (boots preferred)).

We will be providing instruction and assistance for those new to trail construction.

Additional details are provided in the forwarded email message below.

There are many ride options for experiencing the trail opportunities in the Tillamook State Forest after the work party.  I will be leading a ride after the work party on the newly legalized and adopted downhill specific mountain bike trail in the Tillamook State Forest.

Looking forward to seeing you at this event!
