Brown's Camp trails closed?

A friend told me that the Brown's camp area was now closed to MTBs. Is this true? What about the motorcyclists? I always saw more of them there than MTB riders.

 

I've "googled" around but have been unable to find any definitive information on a possible closure.

 Thanks for any news.

I'd call the Tillamook forest folks and ask about this. I stopped out there Sunday but did not ride because of major mud issues I saw in the parking lot. Saw no signs about it being closed to MTBs. There were people riding on the other side though at Gales Creek, and of course quite a few at Wilson River since it was dry there.

Brown's Camp does not

Brown's Camp does not officially close in the Winter. It is somewhat fragile in the wet season so most people wait to ride in the Spring/Summer. The trail is also not currently being maintained so you will likely run into down trees and brush.

If you want to ride in the Tilly during the Winter try the Wilson River Trail.

But I wonder wtf bridge is being moved? Car or forestry (the one to nowhere)?

It's usually too muddy this time of year, I really wish GC was open :-/
