Brown's Camp Memorial Weekend Ride x2!

Time for a Brown's Camp Ride!
(AKA: Roger's Camp)

JD & I hear this trail has come out from under its snow blanket and is ready for riding. Several folks have e-mailed us that they've ridden it over the last two weeks and it is in pristine condition! The long weekend will give us time for a Monday recovery.

Thanks to Shane, we will now have 2 ride options:

Many of you know the familiar faces of Ron Strasser and John Joy. They have long ago become staples of our wonderful mountain biking (... and roadie/cyclocross/racing) family. They not only show up for races and rides, but consistently put in many hours for trail building and maintenance. A Trail Party just wouldn't be the same without them.

Ron and John Joy have been working dilligently on the Scappose trail system. This has brought us all hours of singletrack pleasure.

Ron had an exciting announcement yesterday:

Small Mountain Bikes Wanted

Hi, all.

Two of my female friends are wanting to get into mtb and are looking for good beginner bikes.

They are about my size, so a 16" or 17" would probably be best. Definitely looking for full suspesion and preferably disk breaks. They'd like to buy something that will get them started and last them a season or two before upgrading.

They of course would like to spend as little as possible, but the 500-700 range would be their tops.
