Planning on heading to Siouxon to enjoy the last day of 60+ weather and No Rain! Anyone in? (forum)
Submitted by qanuk on Mon, 03/01/2010 - 5:01am.I was planning on making a trip over to Siouxon today (late morning/early afternoon). I've never been and was wondering if either:
a) anyone wanted to head out for a ride,
b) if anyone had any data/insight that they'd be willing to share about what to ride, how to get there, etc.... it would be greatly appreciated!

Subject: Tarbell Timber Sale info update
Just wanted to give you all a heads up about the Polelander Timber Sale, occurring near trail mile marker 22.5 between Rock Creek Campground and Tarbell Trailhead. They just started road building last week, and have been actively harvesting timber. There is a log deck currently blocking the trail, which will impede trail traffic, until further notice. The Contract Administrator estimates that this will only be there for a week or so. As they are shovel logging, this operation will be relatively gentle on the trail, and the contactors will put it back into order once completed.
