T'S CRUNCH TIME!!!

Come join us for a great day of building Freeride Trails out in Stub Stewart State Park! Your involvement (as volunteers) is the key to opening up this area by June 2nd.

Late-Season tasks may include the following;
-Building features
-Dirt work, shaping berms and jumps
-Continue Milling lumber
-Begin assembling wooden features (Drops, Ladders, cow-catchers, etc.)

Let's meet at the Welcome Center at 8:45 and head towards the Freeride area at 9:05. Please Dress appropriately for the conditions and don't forget to bring enough water/food for the day. The park has plenty of tools but feel free to bring your favorite. Feel free to bring your bike and gear for quality control ;).

Co-ed all abilities group ride. Saturday, May 12th. Whoop Dee trail near Hood River, OR. Approximately 12 miles of mostly fun swoopy singletrack with approximately 2200 ft elevation gain. Options available to lengthen your ride or bail on to doubletrack road. Meet 9:30 a.m. Gateway south parking lot left of the 99th Street dead end. Paste 45.529313,-122.563118 into google maps for location.

Approximately three hour ride with 75 minute drive each way. Carpools can decide whether they want to eat in Hood River afterwards or head home.

There will be events happening up at Hilltop Day Use area (check OPRD site) as well as tours of mountain bike trails by the volunteer trail builders.   Come checkout portions of the trail system which have been freshly minted for your riding pleasure!

Bike Gallery will have a stable of 2012 DEMO mountain bikes available for riders to try out (FREE!)...
