Portland Trail Fest: Kick-off Party at Chris King
Join Northwest Trail Alliance and IMBA for the kick-off party of the inaugural Portland Trail Fest, a 4-day long celebration of everything trails, knobby bike tires and the planet (yes, April 22 is Earth Day!).
Come mingle with MTB advocates, trail stewards, and off-road cyclsits of all colors and stripes, and raise a glass to the 2010 riding and trail care season.
Local bike celebrity and cyclist-of-all-trades Joe "Metal Cowboy" Kurmaskie will be our emcee for the evening and IMBA Executive Director Mike Van Abel will be our keynote speaker. Other speakers include pro-rider/MTB celebrity Kirt Voreis and NWTA President Tom Archer.
However, first and foremost, this event will be an opportunity for you to mingle and socialize with fellow riders and trail stewards, and meet some of the great folks who manage and care for the trails we ride. All with a tasty cup of Hopworks Urban Brewing organic beer in hand!
